Student Representative Council
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is an important part of the Student Voice priority at Seacliff. We aim to meet at least 3 times each term to discuss topics initiated by the students in their class meetings. Each class elects two students at the start of each semester to represent them at SRC meetings and representatives from Years 6 and 7 take on the added responsibility of leading meetings.
Over the years the SRC have taken responsibility for a range topics that directly impact on the student cohort. They have been consulted about improvements to the school including the Snake and Junior Primary Playgrounds, school rules, student fundraising initiatives and whole school events.
Each SRC member receives a “Seacliff Primary School SRC” badge at a special assembly at the start of each semester which they wear them with pride. This also identifies them as someone other students can talk to if they have any ideas about improving and helping our school and community.
If you have any questions, please get in touch via contact us. We’d love to hear from you.
