Staff versus Students Lacrosse Match
Over the last two years we have been having ‘Staff v Students’ sporting contests in the last week of term. This is a great way to bring staff and students together in a fun (and slightly competitive) way. Thank you to Emily Mooney-Doe for helping arrange this match and arranging for an umpire from Lacrosse SA! Thank you also to Mr Porter for helping to manage the Year 7 student groups that played a quarter each in a close, high quality match. Great sportsmanship, great fun and the friendly rivalry continues!
On Monday of week 10 we had a students v teachers lacrosse match. 33 students against 7 teachers…. who will be victorious?
The students put up a mighty great fight but it wasn’t enough to beat the teachers with their key goal scorer, Chandler Sensei, and their key defenders, Aaron and Mr. Wallis.
The students didn’t disappoint with an extraordinary goal from Michael and another from a mystery student.
They also had a few incredible defenders such as Ava, Sava and Max. The crowd created an amazing atmosphere which shows the strong community of our school. Well played everyone and a great match from all.
