Students at Seacliff are getting creative…..AGAIN!
During this term Michelle Angel has been working with classes to create Dramatic Dances (Dances with a story).
Rooms 2, 4, 0, 17 and 18 have been involved. Room 2 and 4 – ‘The Hamster Dance’. Room 0 – ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’. Room 17 – ‘Happy Boys and Happy Girls’. Room 18 – ‘Bring it all Back to You’. Hopefully we will have an Assembly soon so that the classes can perform in front of their families.
Rooms 16 and 19 performed their Dramatic Dances last week at our school’s online internal Assembly. Room 16 performed ‘Teletubbies’ and Room 19 performed ‘Reach for the Stars’.
This term Anna Theodosi has been introducing students to creating animations using TagTool, an animation making application on the iPads.
Students have enjoyed making their own moving pictures. Next they will combine features of a number of applications to enhance the final product.
Choir has been a little bit different this year!
The ‘Festival of Music’ will not be happening in the traditional manner as it has for the past 120 years. However, Seacliff Primary School Choir keeps on singing.
The Seacliff Primary School Choir will be filming their own choreography to one of the Choir songs ‘Raining on the Plains’.
We are lucky to have some very dedicated singers who are providing singing coaching in small groups during Thursday recess.
There have been quite a few students forming bands and dance crews at Seacliff Primary School. These are students who are passionate about their art and spend their lunch and recess times rehearsing.
