Bunnings Spring Art
Last term, Bunnings at Marion created a spring art competition for schools in our local area. Schools were invited to create a spring themed art work on a large piece of MDF board supplied by Bunnings. Room 2 and 5 worked together and Room 13 and 19. Room 2 and 5 created a Bunnings homestead artwork piece with some 3D aspects to it. Room 13 and 19 used the classes fingerprints to involve all students and create a nature spring theme.
We are very pleased to announce that Room 2 and 5 won 2nd place and Room 13 and 19 won 3rd place in the competition. We collected our prizes from Bunnings which included; a bee and butterfly garden creation set for Room 2 and 5 and an edible garden starter kit including mini mushroom farms, tomatoes, sprouts and strawberries for Room 13 and 19. We envisage planting and growing these vegetables to donate to the canteen for use.
Our spring artwork is displayed at the entrance of the front office.
