Rooms 2 & 5: Living and non-living investigations
Last term, Room 2 and Room 5 have been investigating Living and Non-Living things as a Science focus area of study.
The students have concentrated on sorting and classifying Living and Non-Living objects, and then identifying and comparing differences. They have also identified similarities and differences of living things, with particular attention to various insects and how they change over the course of their lifetime.
As a culmination to this topic, the children were extremely fortunate in that they were afforded the opportunity to participate in a trial for school S.A. Nature Play program.
It was a beautiful Autumn day, full of lots of fun, learning and collaboration.
A special thank you to all the parents who supported the students on this day.
