Room 4 – Having Great Fun with Shape!
The children in Room 4 have been learning all about 2D Shapes. They can tell how many sides each shape has and also how many corners or points they have. One of their favourite shapes was a dodecagon. A dodecagon has 12 Sides! We counted them!
The children have traced around shapes to make some amazing pictures and they created a Mr Circle, a Mr Square or a Mr Triangle sewing card. These look great hanging up outside our classroom!
The children had great fun on their Shape Hunt around Seacliff School! With a clipboard and a pencil to record their findings, the children found lots of different shapes all around the school.
They drew pictures of the shapes they found and they then used their sounding skills to label each picture.
The children in Room 4 are shapes experts!
