Room 2 Strikes Gold!
Who would have thought that there would be treasure buried in our very own school beach volleyball court?
For the past few weeks, Room 10 has been looking at the behaviours of natural disasters, and how to prevent loss of life by making models of houses that can withstand them. We have been doing this to help us understand how natural disasters work in other countries.
I’ve witnessed students working with Class Notebook, participating with classmates at home through Zoom, Webex and Teams, completing video tasks/activities on SeeSaw, using Education Perfect online for Japanese, sharing information with teachers via LearnLink accounts and collaborating with peers using OneNote.
To play our role in assisting in the development of high quality teachers for future generations, Seacliff Primary School has signed a partnership agreement with Flinders University, which allows us to access and mentor pre-service teachers currently studying there.
In our first meeting for Term 2, Seacliff Primary staff discussed and reflected on their experiences over the last 7 weeks; how the events of COVID-19 had impacted them at a personal and professional level.
